Your Body, the Way You Want It
Getting in shape shouldn’t be a punishment. It’s an amazing and empowering lifestyle decision that anyone can make. I believe in finding the pleasurable side of fitness; and while there may be a sore muscle or two along the way, the benefits of fitness is worth the discomfort. I have developed my training regime based upon a love for and belief that functional fitness (movements that your body can naturally do) is one of the best ways to enhance your physical fitness and body shape and be able to stay fit and healthy for the demands of Life. By working with a variety of people and adapting my program to new clients I have helped many clients reach their goals.

Functional Fitness, Fit For Life
Functional Fitness concentrates on the movements that the body can do naturally, without the aid of your typical fitness machines. These moves and exercises prepare the body for everyday life, allowing you to function in the real world. Squatting, lifting, running and pulling will all be made easier with functional fitness incorporated into your fitness regime.

Your workout will include bodyweight exercises, balance work and stretching and with the use of tools such as hand weights, kettlebells, steps, battle ropes, mimicking everyday actions. In turn, you will strengthen your muscles, joints and increase your cardiovascular fitness and flexibility while changing the shape of your body.

Not only is exercise important for your mental and heart health, keeping fit and active will also keep your body healthy, helping prevent illnesses and injuries. Making this a lifestyle change will keep you active and healthy in later life.

Train outdoors in the fresh air and elements with a great group of friendly people just like you. My classes will challenge you but all within the remits of your own ability and fitness level.
